Six months with the 6-quart Cosori TurboBlaze air fryer: faster cooking, five fan speeds, and the one habit that keeps cleanup easy.

The Cosori TurboBlaze Air Fryer is worth buying if you want one 6-quart machine that handles waffles, toast, grilled cheese, tenders and fries. After six months it has replaced my toaster oven entirely, it cooks faster than any air fryer I’ve owned, and food comes out crisp and juicy. Buy it.

Quick Verdict

Six months in, my toaster oven is gone and this thing cooks every meal in my house. Chicken nuggets come out crisp and juicy, and it’s faster than any air fryer I’ve used. Strong, powerful air fryer in a small package.

Buy if you:

  • Are upgrading from a tiny air fryer and want real 6-quart room
  • Want one machine for waffles, toast, grilled cheese, tenders and fries
  • Like presets but still want to override temp and time yourself
  • Care about a PFAS-free ceramic coating on the basket and tray

Turboblaze Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets Converted Me Instantly

I made chicken nuggets for my son and they came out the way frozen nuggets almost never do, shatteringly crisp shell, still juicy inside, no pale soggy patches. That was the moment I stopped thinking of the TurboBlaze as a gadget and started thinking of it as my main oven. Every cook since has confirmed it. You can check it out here on Amazon if you want to see where the price sits today.

First thing you notice is the capacity. My old air fryer was tiny compared to this. Six quarts, square basket, and I’m not cooking in two batches anymore.

It Replaced My Toaster Oven Completely

My toaster oven is gone. This machine does everything it did, faster. I make waffles in here. Toast. Grilled cheese. Chicken tenders, french fries, everything.

The speed is the real difference between this and the older fryers I’ve used. It cooks so much faster, and that’s where the TurboBlaze fan comes in: 3600 rpm pushing heat anywhere from 90 all the way to 450 degrees. Five different fan speeds, and each preset mode already has its own temperature, time and fan speed dialed in. I appreciate that. I don’t want to think about it at 6pm on a Tuesday.

And when a preset isn’t what I want, I just adjust the temperature and time and you’re good to go. No menu digging. Compared to a toaster oven, the only thing I gave up was the ability to see the food through a glass door, and six months later I haven’t missed it once.

Six Months In, the Ceramic Is Still Clean

Six months of near-daily cooking and the ceramic basket still looks the way it did out of the box, no flaking, no sticky patches, no dark buildup in the corners. Most nonstick coatings I’ve owned start showing wear by month three; the PFAS-free ceramic here hasn’t.

Here’s my one workaround though. I typically put an oven-safe plate in there just to keep from having to clean the tray every single time. Then I only have to put that plate in the dishwasher. It’s not that the tray is hard to clean, it’s that I’d be cleaning it two or three times a day otherwise. If you cook as often as I do, plan on that habit.

Worth It, But Watch the Price

This thing has moved over 20,000 units on Amazon in the past month, and after six months I understand why: it replaced a dedicated toaster oven, cooks 40% faster than my previous air fryer, and hasn’t asked me for a second batch once.

One thing worth knowing before you click: right now it’s sitting above where it’s usually been over the last three months. Its sales rank has slipped too, #77 in Kitchen & Dining against a 90-day average of #54, which usually tracks with a price bump. If you’re not in a hurry, it’s worth watching for a week. If your current air fryer is tiny and annoying you, the six quarts and the speed are worth it today. Either way, check the current price on Amazon before you decide.

Pros

  • Six quarts, massive upgrade over my old tiny air fryer
  • Cooks faster than any air fryer I’ve used
  • Food comes out crisp and juicy, nuggets especially
  • Presets carry their own temp, time and fan speed, and you can override all three
  • Fully replaced my toaster oven for waffles, toast and grilled cheese

Cons

  • Cleaning the crisper tray after every cook is enough of a chore that I line it with a plate instead
  • Six quarts still takes up real counter space
  • Currently priced above its recent three-month norm

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the basket and tray dishwasher safe?

The removable basket and crisper tray come out for washing, and I run my oven-safe plate through the dishwasher regularly. Check the manual for the tray itself before you load it, since ceramic coatings generally last longer with a hand wash.

How loud is it on the highest fan speed?

Under 53 dB even at the top fan speed, per Cosori. For context that’s conversation-level, not vacuum-level, so it won’t drown out the kitchen.

Can you get replacement baskets or trays?

Cosori sells replacement baskets and crisper trays for their air fryer lines, so you’re not stuck if yours ever wears out. Mine hasn’t needed one in six months, and the plate trick cuts most of the wear anyway.
