Esinkin Bluetooth Audio Adapter Review
Adding Bluetooth to an older A/V receiver without running new wire. How the Esinkin W29 solved a wall-mounted TV problem.
The Esinkin Bluetooth Audio Adapter (W29-US) is worth buying if you have an older receiver or powered speakers with no Bluetooth. It’s a 1.97-inch box that plugs into RCA or 3.5mm and makes the whole system Bluetooth enabled. It solved my wall-mounted TV problem without running new wire. Buy it.

Quick Verdict
A 2-inch black box kept me from tearing open a wall. Our TV was mounted up high, the receiver sat down below, and there was no reasonable way to run wire between them. This adapter made the receiver Bluetooth enabled and the Fire Stick does the rest.
Buy if you:
- Own an older A/V receiver with RCA jacks and no Bluetooth
- Have a wall-mounted TV with the receiver somewhere else entirely
- Stream from a Fire Stick, phone, or tablet
- Have old powered speakers you want to keep using wirelessly
Skip if you:
- Need it to send audio out of a TV. It’s a receiver only, not a transmitter
- Want it to run on battery. There’s no battery, it needs USB or the AC adapter
- Need range past roughly 30 to 40 feet indoors

Connect Your Phone With Esinkin Bluetooth Audio Adapter
We inherited a surround sound system wired into the walls, speakers in every corner, one receiver, and a TV we’d just mounted six feet up with no cable path between them and no desire to cut drywall to make one. So we connected this Esinkin Bluetooth audio adapter to the back of the receiver instead. That’s it. Now the Fire Stick on the TV connects by Bluetooth to the adapter, the adapter feeds the receiver, and the receiver plays through the speakers. It was the right move for a setup where running new wire wasn’t practical.
Plugging It In Took Minutes
Setup takes five minutes: plug RCA into the receiver, connect USB or AC power, pair via Bluetooth. No app required. The box comes with the receiver, the AC-to-DC adapter, a 3.5mm-to-RCA cable, a USB power cable, and a manual, so you don’t need to buy anything extra. One button in the middle handles everything: a click for start and pause, a three-second hold for on and off. It also auto-reconnects to the last device it paired with, which matters more than it sounds when the thing is tucked away out of sight.
The Catch: It Receives, It Doesn’t Transmit
This only works one direction. It takes Bluetooth in and sends wired audio out. If your plan is to grab audio from a TV with no Bluetooth and beam it to wireless headphones, this isn’t that device. In our setup the Fire Stick is doing the transmitting, so the adapter had something to pair with. If your source has no Bluetooth either, you’ve got nothing feeding it. Worth sorting out before you order. The other practical note is power: there’s no battery in it, so it needs to live near an outlet or a USB port.
What Else You Can Pop It Onto

The use case is broader than it first sounds: any wired audio device with an RCA or 3.5mm input becomes a Bluetooth receiver overnight. Old powered PC speakers, a garage stereo, an A/V receiver like ours, if it has the jack, the adapter works with it. At 1.97 inches square and 100 grams it disappears, and we keep ours behind the entertainment center anyway. Range is listed at 30 to 40 feet indoors without obstacles, which covers a normal living room and then some. If you’ve got powered speakers or a receiver sitting idle because there’s no clean wire run to your source, this is the cheapest fix I’ve found that actually works. Check today’s price on linktw.in.
Pros
- Solved a wiring problem without opening walls or anything invasive
- Small enough to hide behind the entertainment center
- Works on any audio device that lacks Bluetooth, not just receivers
- RCA and 3.5mm cables both included in the box
Cons
- Receiver only. It won’t transmit audio out of a non-Bluetooth TV
- No battery, so it has to stay tethered to power
- Bluetooth 4.0, not the newest standard
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Esinkin Bluetooth receiver need an app or account?
No app, no account, no subscription. It pairs the same way a Bluetooth speaker does, straight from your phone or streaming stick’s Bluetooth menu. The single center button is the only control.
What’s the warranty?
24 months, with customer service support. There’s no firmware updating to worry about since there’s no app tied to it.
Will it pair with a laptop or tablet, not just a Fire Stick?
Yes. It works with Bluetooth-enabled phones, tablets, computers, and laptops. Anything that can send Bluetooth audio out can feed it.
