How this review was made: written from my own video review of this product. Every opinion here is my own, from using it myself.

No. The cabinet has a dedicated space for one, but you supply the fridge. The opening is 24 inches wide by 36 inches tall.

Yes. Both side cabinets have adjustable shelves with three different height levels. Useful if you’re storing tall bottles on one side and mugs on the other.

What This Is About

Garvey sent me this coffee cabinet so I could answer the questions people kept asking about it. I measured it, loaded it, slid my own compact fridge into the opening, and ended up putting the whole thing in my living room.

  • The real measurements: 58 in wide, 22 in deep, almost 42 in tall
  • The fridge opening is 24 wide by 36 tall, and no fridge is included
  • What’s inside the side cabinets, including the wine rack
  • The built-in outlet on the top surface, with USB-A and USB-C

Coffee Cabinet With Fridge Space Looks Bigger In Person

Standing it in my living room, I realized 42 inches is chest-height on me, not a counter you bend over. I knew it was wide, 58 inches wide by 22 deep, but it’s a lot taller than I expected. Almost 42 inches. That’s chest height on me, which changes how you use the top surface. You’re not bending over it. You’re standing at it like a bar.

At chest height, the top surface functions more like a kitchen island than a sideboard, you’re pouring, pressing, and assembling drinks standing upright, which turns out to be exactly how you want to use it.

The Fridge Part People Keep Asking About

No refrigerator is included; you supply your own for the 24-by-36-inch opening. The cabinet has a space for one, and that space is 24 inches wide by 36 inches tall. That’s going to fit a lot of compact refrigerators.

I slid mine in. Fits perfectly. There’s a little extra space around it, and I don’t mind that at all. You don’t want it so tight that you can’t swing the door open. This lets me open everything, close everything, access it whenever I need it. We already had the fridge, so this turned it into a built-in look without doing anything custom.

Drawers, Soft-Close Doors, and a Wine Rack

The drawers are shallow enough that coffee pods sit in a single layer, you can see every variety at a glance, which beats digging through a basket. Inside the side cabinets, the wine rack hangs glasses by the stem, keeping them stable and off the counter surface entirely.

The cabinets on either side have fully soft-close doors plus a magnetic closure at the bottom, so they stay shut. Both sides have adjustable shelves, three different height levels each.

The Outlet On Top Is the Detail I Didn’t See Coming

What’s really nice is it has a built-in plug on the top of the surface. So you plug your coffee maker straight in. No cord running down the back and across the floor hunting for a wall outlet. It even has a USB-A and USB-C input, so you can charge a tablet or a phone while the coffee brews.

Why It Ended Up in the Living Room

We decided to put it in our living room and make it into a nice little coffee station. Someone wants to sit down with a cup of coffee, they walk right over here and they’re good to go.

Garvey Coffee Cabinet positioned in a bright kitchen space next to countertops and wall shelving

That’s what pushed it into the living room instead of a utility corner: it works as a coffee station, a bar, or both at once, and at 58 inches wide it anchors a wall without eating the room. The 42-inch height is the deciding factor, if bar-height suits you, it suits this cabinet. If you want something you lean over, keep looking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a refrigerator come with it?

Can you adjust the shelves inside?

Do you need an outlet behind it?

You’ll need one somewhere, but the cabinet has its own built-in plug on the top surface with USB-A and USB-C, so your coffee maker and devices plug into the furniture itself.

Measurements are easier to understand when you can see something standing next to a room, so the full walkthrough is up top if you want the visual.
