Bluetooth Sleep Mask Review: Total Blackout and Built-In Speakers
A Bluetooth sleep mask with weighted gravity beads and noise-cancelling earmuffs. Total blackout in a bright room, plus a remote for the audio.
This Bluetooth sleep mask is worth buying if light and noise wake you up before you’re ready. The 3D eye cups block 100% of the light even in a well-lit room, and the built-in earmuffs pair to your phone for music or white noise. Easy buy for daytime nappers, shift workers, and side sleepers.

How this review was made: written from my own video review of this product. Every opinion here is my own, from using it myself.
Quick Verdict
I put this on in a very well-lit room and 100% of the light was gone. The gravity beads add that weighted calming pressure that basically urges you to fall asleep, and the earmuffs stayed comfortable even lying on my side. Total game changer for my daytime naps.
Buy if you:
- Nap during the day in a bright room
- Sleep next to a spouse who snores
- Sleep on your side and hate earbuds digging in
- Fly a lot and need to shut out other passengers
Skip if you:
- Don’t want one more thing to keep charged, this is a powered mask, not a plain fabric one
- Want something featherweight, the gravity beads add real weight on your face
- Already sleep fine in a dark, quiet bedroom

I Tested My Bluetooth Sleep Mask in Bright Light
I put this on in a room with every light blazing and walked out completely blacked out. Not “mostly dark,” not a glow at the nose bridge, gone. The 3D eye cups seal tight enough that there is no gap to negotiate, no adjustment ritual. Just dark. You can check the current price on Amazon here.
The other half of it is the weighted calming pressure from the gravity beads. It’s a strange thing to describe. It gives you that feeling of just wanting to sleep, like the mask is urging you to go to sleep. That weighted pressure is what sets this apart, most masks just cover your eyes and move on.
Side Sleeping With the Earmuffs On
Side sleeping is where most sleep audio falls apart, and this one held up. Earbuds press into your ear canal when your head hits the pillow, that’s why side sleepers either ditch them or wake up with a sore ear. These earmuffs sit against the outside of your ear, not inside it. I rolled onto my side expecting the usual dig. Nothing. The padding compresses but doesn’t transfer pressure the way an earbud stem does.
They connect to your phone over Bluetooth 5.4, so you can play music or whatever sounds you want. For me that means blocking out a spouse’s snoring, blocking out street traffic, or blocking out other people on an airplane. There are also 10 white noise options built in, so you don’t have to run your phone down to get a steady hum going. And there’s a remote control to run the music while you’re lying in bed, which sounds minor until you’re half asleep and don’t want to dig for a phone.
Here’s the trade-off: this is an electronic device strapped to your face. It needs charging. If you’re the type who grabs a cheap fabric mask out of a drawer and goes, that’s one more habit to build.
What the Money Buys
You’re paying for two products in one shell. A blackout mask with 3D eye cups and a pair of Bluetooth earmuffs, plus the gravity-bead weighting. Buy those separately and you end up with a mask that shifts, earbuds that hurt on your side, and nothing tying them together. Check the live price at the link before you compare.
Before You Order One
Charge it fully before the first night, not five minutes before bed. Learn the remote by feel in the light, so you’re not fumbling in the dark. And give the weighted pressure a couple of sessions. The first time, the beads feel like something new sitting on your face. By the second nap it’s the reason you reach for it.
This works for travel naps, bedroom naps, or office breaks, anywhere you need blackout and silence. If light or noise is the thing standing between you and sleep, stop improvising with a cheap mask and a white-noise app running on a phone across the room. This solves both at once.
Pros
- 100% of the light is gone, verified in a very well-lit room
- Gravity beads give weighted calming pressure that urges you toward sleep
- Earmuffs stay comfortable for side sleepers
- Bluetooth to your phone plus 10 built-in white noise options
- Remote control means you never reach for your phone in bed
Cons
- It’s a powered mask, so it’s one more thing to keep charged
- The bead weighting is noticeable at first and takes a session or two to get used to
- Earmuff design is bulkier than a plain fabric sleep mask to pack
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wash it?
Spot clean only unless the manufacturer says otherwise. There’s electronics and a battery inside, so don’t put the whole thing in a washing machine. Check the care card in the box before you do anything with water.
Will it work for meditation or just sleep?
It works for either, since it’s a Bluetooth sleep mask that plays whatever your phone sends it. Load a guided meditation app or pick one of the 10 built-in white noise tracks. The blackout and the weighted pressure help just as much sitting up as lying down.
Can my partner hear the audio?
At normal listening volume it stays with you, since the sound comes from padded earmuffs sitting against your ears rather than an open speaker. Crank it loud enough and anything leaks. Keep it at the level you’d use for falling asleep and it’s a non-issue.
